I wound up taking too much tramadol and now am addicted. One side effect in my case is that my ears ring all the time. Will this side effect ever cease if I get off the tramadol?

I been on it for 3 years and every-time I work-out my ears ring. I thought I was the only one that went threw that because I can't find that as a side-effect anywhere I looked online. Mine don't ring all the time like yours but they do when I do anything physical. I'm addicted, but it's monitored doses by my doctor, 400mg's daily. I cant go more then 8 hours without it before I start getting the worst headache known to mankind. I would ask a doctor about the ringing because it very well may not be from the trams. Don't tell the doctor that your addicted or you'll get flagged and you'll never get any pain meds or any controlled substances in the state you live in again. I hope you are able to taper down to a comfortable dose. Please don't take over 400mg's a day as it can cause seizures. be well friend and definitely get your ears checked.
