that can affect the liver.

You need to inform the doctor of what you told us
here...that you don't drink and that there must be
other reasons for your problem.

No one blood testing is 100% accurate. The doctor
may do more blood testing (if he hasn't already) to
be sure these levels stay out of normal range before
proceeding with some of the other tests like
ultrasound, CT scan, or liver biopsy.
Many things can also affect the results of these tests:
like muscle injury, certain medications, intramuscular
injection, exercising before the tests was done and
so much more.

If this is liver disease, this is what may take place in the
body:
When the liver cells become damaged, the immune system
of the body will respond to it and cause inflammation to
develop inside the liver...this causes the liver to enlarge in
size and take on a spongy texture.
If the cause can be found and stopped, the liver cells
may heal and the problem could be reversed.
If not, it can proceed to where the liver cells die off
and form scar tissue inside the liver...This is then
known as the irreversible, progressive disease of
Cirrhosis of the liver.

If this is liver disease, you should request to be referred
to either a gastroenterologist or hepatologist.

Hope this information has been of help to you.
Best wishes
