I'm getting a blood test soon. I'm 13 and I've never had one before, only vaccination shots. The last time I had a shot, I fainted. I am REALLY terrified of needles. I cried when I found out I needed a blood test. I am allowed and will be using Elma cream (it's a numbing cream). So anyways if anyone knows of any ways of how to get me less scared, that would be great! Thank you so much!

You're lucky though, because the nurses are aware that patients hate them and it's nothing out of the ordinary! Don't look and just distract yourself. The nurse will start talking to you to distract you. It literally takes 5 seconds, no joke, you will be fine. :-)
