HELP!!!! im a 15 year old boy, and have been masturbating since i was 12 or 13. and i do it regularly, like 3 times per day, every week non-stop. And i am still masturbating even at this age. But , recently i have been surfing the net and doing some research on over masturbating and prostate cancer. May i know whether over masturbation from age 12-20 , Daily masturbation (3-4 times) cause prostate cancer? Please answer, as i am very worried now D:

If you search a little further you'll find there are also studies that say the opposite: that masturbation helps reduce the risk. The fact is there is no definitive "cause" for prostate cancer. What is known is that heredity is the most important factor: if you have a male relative who has had it your chances of getting it are much greater. Like most cancers diet and environmental factors (like chemical exposure) are also suspected contributing factors. I don't believe there is any real evidence that masturbation has any siginificant effect at all (and why would it?).

And by the way, p.c. is very very rare in anyone under 40 so it's a bit early to be worrying. Be more worried about your overall health: eat well and stay fit. Masturbation is perfectly normal and healthy unless you're doing it obsessively.

Don't be ridiculous. Your prostate doesn't know if you are masturbating or having sex with a woman. Have you ever heard that having sex causes cancer.

No, it does not cause prostate cancer. Chill out. You're young and you will feel horny all the time. It will pass over as you get older.
