I have been having headaches lately and I want to know of anything I can do to get rid of them, if only for a short time. Im seeing a doctor about them now, but I want to avoid all the stuff required to try to get a diagnosis.

I am glad to hear that you are seeing a doctor. It is important to rule out serious medical conditions. That being said, many headaches are actually caused by dehydtation, even if we don't feel thirsty. Try drinking 16 ounces of water within 1/2 hour of waking and drink about 8 to 10 glasses of water per day, coffee, tea, soda or juice don't count as water.
Be mindful of your intake of sugar. Too much sugar intake can cause headaches as well as allergies and sensitivities. Eliminate fast food and processed foods. Eating more natural foods can reduce headaches. Also, you may see a dentist and or chiropractor. Problems with the jaw and clenching of teeth can cause headaches, as can subluxations of the spine, particularly cervical spine.
Pain relievers can help relieve the pain but all come with side effects and none of them eliminate the cause of the pain. So if your doctor, gives you pain meds, take them if you need them but continue to search out the source of the pain and improve your health to eliminate the source of the problem so you no longer need the meds.
Good luck
Answer:
Massaging the fleshy part between your thumb and forefinger can help, it's a form of reflexology. Caffeine also helps a lot since it reduces inflammation, so a daily cup of Joe might do you good. Also avoiding sugar and other common trigger foods might help. It's possible you are slightly allergic to something and that is the cause of your headaches
Answer:
Bitter root. Either chew it, then spit it out after a few minutes; or just burn it like incense and take a few sniffs. You won't get high, it's basically natural aspirin.
Answer:
Pain meds, and massaging your temples. Very good short time treatment. The Indians even used it to help the pain of brain tumors!
